Over the last 30 years, Summit Lake Game Farm has created one of the country’s finest Upland Bird hunting paradises. With 10 fields and more than 400 acres of upland birds habitat planted in switch grass, sorghum, corn and other grasses, hunters are sure to find plenty of game here. By consistently planting and maintaining these fields it makes for some of the fines bird hunting in North America.Our hunting season runs from September to January 1st. We will extended our season depending on bird availability and weather. We are open to the public and also offer memberships. We offer morning and afternoon hunts with a great lunch service at our club house. If you are without a dog let us provide you with some great dog handling service for a minimum cost upon request.
Hunt more than 400 acres of game preserve which features over a dozen unique fields with planted and natural habitats. Spend the day shooting sporting clays or five-stand, and wrap things up at Summit Lake Grille.

FAQs
Can I shoot Scratch Birds?
Scratch birds are reserved for members. Non-members pay for each additional bird that they harvest over the number of birds released.
What is the minimum bird release?
We require five birds released per hunter.
What field will I be designated?
We will designate the appropriate field for your hunt according to number of hunters, number of birds, type of dogs, and cover.
Are there cleaning facilities?
Yes, we provide a cleaning service that is recommended at a minimum charge.
Are Hunting License required?
No hunting license are required for pen raised bird that we release. You will need a WI small game license for all other hunting or fishing.
